I take it that the 0/1 FG to Yao is some sort of "stat goes to the captain" rule, or a mistake?

That stat brought over 10,000 hits from China - great marketing!

ESPN Recap: http://linky.com.au/a3wpx

Andersen gets a good mention too!

"Aussie David Andersen added a career-high 19 for the Rockets, who lost 103-102 at home in overtime in the teams' first meeting earlier this month."

"Andersen scored Houston's first six points of the fourth, pushing their lead to 86-73 while fans booed the home team."

"Andersen scored 13 points in the second, when the Rockets tied the game twice and took a two-point lead before trailing 54-52 at the break."

Awesome work. Bogut has revitalized his career, Jawai is getting minutes and is liked by the coaching staff and Andersen has had a very solid start as well.

Hopefully Patty Mills can get some court time towards the end of the season, or at least follow the Jawai path of getting some in year two.

I watched the majority of the game online today. The Lakers were very rusty, didn't give Anderson any respect and he made them pay.

Andersen gets some love from FIBA.com:

"Andersen, a standout performer in the Euroleague over the years with CSKA and Barcelona, came off the bench and scored 19 points to lead the Houston Rockets to a 101-91 triumph."

"We obviously didn't know the scouting report that well on Andersen," Lakers coach Phil Jackson said. "We knew he's a shooter but we didn't see him playing at that level."
