POTW

WNBL have named Suzy Batkovic-Brown for averaging 20points and 14 rebounds. Liz Cambage - runner up for 30points and 9rebounds.
(Francis was our best)
NBL- seem to be still deciding whether it's Dusty Rychart or Julius Hodge.

So they've gone back to the "wins mean more" way of thinking? Dusty's supposedly consistent round, including that solid 2 rebound effort, means more than a 24 point performance in a narrow loss....well, for this week anyway.

"Other contenders for the Round Nine weekly honour included Daniel Johnson (Melbourne), Julius Hodge (Melbourne), James Harvey (Gold Coast), Adam Gibson (Gold Coast), Anthony Petire (Gold Coast), Peter Crawford (Townsville), and Cameron Tovey (Townville)."

Seriously, how the fark can Hodges numbers make him a contender? 6 turnovers...HELLO!

The NBL should have made the award void for the week. Know one was really a stand-out or deserved to win.
A double-double is great from Rychart but 12 and 2...

Batkovic who at 29 years is 193cms, been to 2 olympics
Cambage just turned 18, 203cms likely to go 2 or 3

So Gilchrist Ballinger Hodge Rychart the last winners

Might be Gilchrist and Francis again.

Be good if Gilchrist gets it - helps in the build up v Hodge game here on Saturday. Extra people in Adelaide with the Test match and the like.

Interesting Francis and Gilchrist both won their first together 4 weeks ago and both look like winning their second together also.

I think its Suzy Batkovic-Brown in WNBL. 26 points 18 December and 35 points 20 December.
