SEABL - Mt Gambier vs NW Tas

Visiting Mt Gambier and got a chance to see the Mt Gambier Pioneers play North WestTasmania on Friday night. What a game it was! A good crowd, plenty of hard ball and a win for the home team. Saw some mighty good basketball, Jamie Holmes poetry in motion under the basket, unfortunately Jason Williams out injured but great to see Chris Mason playing well.

was also lucky enough to witness that game, c.Mason started like a man possessed, 11 points in the first quarter. Seems like a well balanced, well coached, deep team this year. well done to the coaching staff off season, lets hope they can coach the team as well during the season!!! Pioneers will give SEABL a good shake this season if coached well, Williams or no Williams!!

No docs in the stands from my observation.

Mase played a sick game, irrelevant of if he turned the ball over 8 times of not!

Sonya and Flash will work hard with the group and undoubtably get some great results!

Dallas Jeffree has been in great touch since his Pioneers debut, 30 points friday!

Missed it Friday (in Adelaide for business) but won't miss too many games from here. Get behind this team South Australia - it's your only SEABL team. Make the 450km trip sometime, perhaps Friday 1 April at 8pm to see the Pioneers take on Joe Ingles and Brad Hill, or Friday 24 June at 8pm when the Big Easy Eric Bradley comes into town.

Tell them Moses sent you and get a $5 discount!

PS. I'm kidding about the discount but if you post something here about making the trip, we'll see what we can do. ;-)

Moses, you missed a corker mate!

How the Pioneers won I still don't know. Well I do know, awesome team effort, with standouts from Holmes and Jeffree.

They were in massive foul trouble all night. No Duggan or Williams, Sedlock injured in third qtr. Dodgy reffing. Young Berkfield took the rebound of his life. We have all get behind this team this year!
