Have heard from a few sources that AIS point guard Jackson Aldridge has committed to Butler University? After some great international tournaments, Aldridge seems to have accepted a scholarship at NCAA runners up, Butler. Can anyone confirm this??

I can't find confirmation of this online anywhere. If he has committed to Butler, this is a great move on a very good college team.

Yes. He has verbally commited to Butler University.

Quite a few fans of the Butler Basketball team were (some still are), at first, somewhat puzzled by the offer to Jackson Aldridge. But, we keep hearing and seeing how good he is and we do trust Brad Stevens and the staff as to whom they offer.
Jackson MUST be quite a special player to be able to secure an offer - we are very glad to have him!
The 2011 class with Roosevelt Jones, Aldridge and Andy Smeathers is turning out to be a quite a good one. If things pan out with Cody Zeller (Indiana) and quite possibly with the inclusion of Shelby Moats (Minnesota)- that could give the 2008 class (Gordon Hayward, Shelvin Mack & Ronald Nored) a run for its money!
