Raptors GM wonders where Bosh's priorities lay

As Toronto battled for eighth seed in the Eastern Conference playoffs, star player Chris Bosh (now obviously with Miami) missed games to recover from injury. This was despite team doctors clearing him to play.

This ESPN story quotes Raptors GM Bryan Colangelo on the issue:

"I'm telling you he was cleared to play subject to tolerance on his part, and the tolerance just apparently wasn't there and he chose not to play."

The team's season was on the brink and the front office was hoping Bosh would return sooner to turn things around, Colangelo said. Now, he's not certain whether Bosh was thinking about the Raptors' playoff run or his own pending free agency.

Further on priorities and collusion, the NBA has issued a memo about teams jockeying for a trade with Chris Paul. Trade discussion must be initiated with the player's club but there have been quotes and speculation suggesting that an agent has been approaching clubs directly. Paul, obviously a fan of the way his pal LeBron has engineered a superteam in Miami, may have crossed a line in trying to do the same himself?
