A number of girls were injured and unable to participate in trainings. Tippet, Thompson and Lavey were those that I know of.

Given that there was only a week between naming the squad and the squad and 3 players were unavailable due to injury, almost seems like BA are sending a message to those girls outside the squad. Just fuggedaboutit - you're not wanted!

Should have said camp instead of the 2nd squad. Sorry. I should add, particularly if you're a big. 4 bigs in camp, 3 selected and 1 injured.

Apparently she's got a new NCAA teams chasing her over in the states, but she's yet to decide if she wants to go pro or head to college.

Duke is one of the teams chasing her according to one of there boards.

Is smith and Thompson really up to the task, in their home states they were stand out, but on the world stage they are very average. Is this because they have been pushed too hard too fast, or do they lack the talent? Is Minear injured, would have thought she would be in after the recent gems tour.

Smith and Thompson were far from standouts in their home state. They were favourites of the little man and like many of SA selections to higher honours left many wondering ..........

Still no minear find it hard to understand minear is by far better than Thompson and top age to boot, suppose they know what they're doing

'Suppose they know what they are doing' is the catch cry that lets them get away with murder. It wasn't hard to spot a Cambage or any of the other talls and hope they develop but when it comes to finding talent that doesn't come with a neon sign they are out of their depth.
