Finding a basketball team near Ashburton or Swinburne

I have been staying in Melbourne for 1 month but I couldn't play basketball because it's very complicated to enroll a team. I have come to Waverley basketball stadium to ask whether i can join but they didn't respond me after 3 weeks. It's absolutely equivocal. Could you guys please leave me some detail about some basketball teams near Ashburton or Swinburne university (Swinburne uni doesn't have a basketball team too)???? poor me!!
Here are some of my information: I used to be a player of u18 Vietnam basketball team. I'm 17 and i have been playing basketball for 4 years. Please help me if you know!!!Thanks!!!!!

Also worth trying Nunawading or Hawthorn if you are having trouble finding a team at Waverley.

Hi Devin30 - just so you know ...domestic basketball just finished for the season last week-end and will start up soon again .

Rep ball have finals this week-end too and try outs start in coming weeks. Good to hear you are coming to Nunawading - they have good domestic comp and rep teams .
