NBA Game Watch, Tues Nov 9th

Greetings,

Got an RDO so just sitting back having a punt and keeping track of todays games while i 'work' from home.

When the games start i'll be making running comments, more than welcome to add to my very suspect knowledge.

My predictions for todays games...

All away teams.

Warriors, spurs, hawks, suns, celts and nuggets.

Carmelo will score 50 to impress chicago fans.

Hawks want revenge
Suns find a way
Celts are awesome
Nugs coz of caramelo
Spurs too good
Raptors are awful.

If they all get up, drinks are on me.

Shakey start but seems to be settling into what i wanted. Bobcats trying to beat spurs from the outside, got the hawks doing a number on the magic and the warriors fighting back from a slow start.

Are spurs most under-rated team in the L right now?

Magic fighting back, they do have good depth and the hawks really rely on Crawford off the bench to keep them in games.

Spurs still down but i feel good, bobcats will dry up and spurs will grind out a win.

Warriors love the style of game being played right now, book it.

spread for the hawks was +9 so feeling ok right now.

Question- lots of people say inside scoring is needed, is it really? I mean, if you have solid scoring from the outside + dribble penetration don't you really just need solid D from your bigs?

Look at the Celts. The bulls with Jord. The pistons with Thomas...

Prediction, Rondo to get 15-20 assists today as Kidd is forced to play well off him and makes it easy for him to deliver crisp passes to Allen.

Bulls might win, still think Caramelo will put up big numbers, or die trying.

Teams get revenge in the season, and Joe Johnson is running pretty hot right now.

Plus Nelson is out and Vince ain't 100%

Its no sure thing, thats why i took the +9 spread.

Spurs and warriors look to be home.

Celts started weak, but i just can't see the Mavs lasting against em.

Hawks need to stay close, i think they will. Joe Johnson has something to prove.

Nugs must stay within 10 so Melo can close in the 4th.

Now to see if the suns have any run left, the nuggs need to lift, as do the celts.

Suns have cost me today. The spread was 9.5, and they lost by 10. Need celts to win if i'm gonna survive.

Nuggs did the best they could.
