Edit: The import has been announced as ex-NBA player Andre Brown.
Former NBA big man Andre Brown is set to make his debut for the Perth Wildcats next Friday after being signed up as a temporary stand-in for Matt Knight.

The former Seattle Memphis and Charlotte Bobcats powerhouse, who measures 206cm and 111kg will jet in from his home in Chicago later this week - with the intention of making his NBL debut at Challenge Stadium against Townsville Crocodiles.

Brown played 75 games in total in the NBA, as well as stints in Korea, Turkey, China and Greece.

The Wildcats hope Brown will provide an inside presence alongside fellow short-term signing Ater Majok.

Something tells me its going to be someone good the Cats have been on the hunt for around 4 weeks now and have not rushed anything they dont just rush out and get a Ron Howard or some crap import.

If hes good Knight wont be back this year they wont risk losing him cause they rushed him back ,they will give him the rest of the year back and come back fully fit for next season .
