Ray Allen set to break three-pointer record

Ray Allen is going to break Reggie Millers record in a couple of days time for the most 3 pointers in nba history. Awesome Stuff i say.

I cant see this record being broken in the near future.

Lets hope he puts on a show like this

The best thing is, he is going to break it in Boston with Reggie Miller commentating.

Great effort by a great shooter.

*Stephen Curry might be the only one to have a chance at this record*

Yep, Curry showing the goods early. There are certainly no experienced players who have a shot at breaking this record.

I think the next best is Kidd who is about 800 behind.

Wow, I haven't seen that footage before! That's incredible!
I'm even more glad that NBA.com finally shipped my Ray Allen singlet to me. What a legend.

Yeah.... unless you've been a frequent perimeter shooter and you're only 2 years into the league, you won't beat that whatsover.

Rondo has a chance at topping Stockton on the all time Assists table, provided he can maintain about 12-14 assists pg every season for another 17 years.

He's probably the closest the league has to that.

Shaq, Howard and Kemp perhaps?

Kemp was a dunking machine and a human highlight reel...

Kemp was awesome, some of his one handed alleys are just nuts

Surprised to see Durant with that many more dunks than someone like LeBron.

Lebron is probably choosy with his dunks. Tends to only get Flash when it's guaranteed.

He's probably got a mentality of "doesn't want to get posterized" or "doesn't want to fluff the dunk".

the thing that makes miller and allen unique is they aren't one trick ponys, so youd have to defend their drive. spot up shooters like kapono, legler etc wouldn't break their records even if the only shots they ever took were 3s.

The guy had just hit seven threes in 4Q and 2 OTs yet nobody from Phoenix bothered to stay with him on the inbounds for the final play?!!

Vintage Suns defence.

Good on you Ray, you've shown great dedication and deserve this.

Talk about 3 point records, Rudy Fernandez 6/6 with 3 pointers so far in the first half against Toronto, off the bench!
