Breakers Vs Blaze NSEC

After last weekends double overtime game the Blaze make the trip to Aucklands North Shore to take on the Breakers at home. The Blaze were unlucky to not get the win at home but will be swimming against the tide in the Breakers home gym where only the Hawks have managed to beat them this season. Drop this one and the Blazes finals hopes take a nose dive where the Breakers have no pressure to win sitting top of the table at 18-3.
The home team are hard to bet against with all their scoring talent and depth across the board and I'm going to go with them for the win by 11. Penney, Bruton and Wilkinson are all playing well and Abercrombie and Vukona proved last game that they are capable of hitting their shots.
If the Blaze want to have a hope of a win they will need big games from Clarke, Harvey and Gibson.
Should be another high scoring game but I hope the refs let both teams play and not call as many fouls as Sundays game.

Great win to Gold Coast on the road, shot the ball well and made Nz work to stay in the game. Clarke was a beast inside.

Very good win for the GC on the road against the best team so far this season.

They are getting a bit of steam up as we get closer to the finals...

GC showed a lot more composure to close the game out but Joey Wright must have been shitting bricks when NZ tied the scores up. Breakers were pretty close to snatching the win away again but the Blaze deserved the W and got it.
