Close game with the Boomers making a huge comeback to get the win.
Always going to be difficult for the Caps without Batkovic. And as predicted Cambage + Penaluna were too much for the Caps to handle.
I think Graf did a decent job - if you're going to lose to Bulleen they need to beat you the hard way by knocking down shots (Bulleen were 1-12 3pt range today).

Great game. Yes, Batkovic missing for the Cap's, but Bulleen were also missing O'Hea.

saw that "tunnelling" thing today on the wnbl broadcast.
no way a tunnel - the guard was doing a get in teh lane / box outy type thing - no way she got under liz whilst she was in teh air.
also liz's foul came through head high contact on the guard - but that was only because of the height difference / match up - liz was tough to get the call - IMO - no call or double foul.

I agree - in no way was that a tunnel. Just a guard doing her best to make life tougher for a big.
Having said that, Liz being called for a foul on that play was ridiculous. Let 'em play! Especially in the playoffs.

This is why the Michelle Timms vitriol can't be found - WNBL ordered her to take it down. She may be sanctioned for it too. She brought the game into disrepute so I hope they deal with her accordingly. For further info see:
