Thanks Jack. Great summary. I note some clubs are charging a fee for those attending. Any idea as to whether this is a standard approach across all Clubs.

Clubs should be posting coaches for div 1 and 2 before trials. If you are thinking of moving you want to know what coach/s your moving too. Most people move their children to better coaching so they can improve. Then parents can do their homework to see if that club would be best, or stay knowing that the coach will be changing. Last year all trials were over when our div 1 cooach was appointed so we could not move until after summer and could not try out as it was too late.

What times are Southern's trials? Are they in the morning or afternoon? Nothing on the website which is bizzare

I am sure if you call or email Darren as the post on the forum says he will let you know, think it is a great idea having trials on a Saturday, gives kids chance to come and try out on a Saturday and go to training on Sunday and allows current teams to train uninterrupted leading into finals!

Quality Div 1 coaches at tigers, have been very impressed since we went up the hill and had a big night Friday night with 4/6 division 1 teams beating Norwood!

Roaring it is Knob ... not nob. Learn to spell I love that you include your senior teams in that junior figure. Good ole Southern always making their results better than they are.

Roaring, I wouldn't call 7 / 12 teams exactly successful. Nothing to carry on about.

Also don't confuse your minor success with anything to do with professionalism. Unless you've also been involved with another club, then you're really not in a position to make a comment. Your club conducts itself like a social basketball club at best. All downhill since Hopkins left.
