Sixers in the NZ NBL last weekend

Jacob Holmes 18 points, 14 rebounds. Lost by 3. Game before, 37 points and 6 rebounds to win by 7 in overtime.

Nelson Giants Jacob Holmes proved he could be a notable Australian Boomer of the future, putting on a clutch display in the fourth quarter and overtime as Nelson overcame a spirited Otago Nuggets display in their home opener in Dunedin, 99-92. The swingman manned all spots on the floor, playing the point in patches and thrived on taking, and making, the fadeaway jumper whenever the Giants most needed it.

Dusty Rychart 16 points, 15 rebounds. Won easily. (Derek Moore, 15 and 12).

David Cooper didn't play this week.
