NZ Men have a great chance to cause an upset..They have a very talented team and Im tipping them to beat the Aussies.

As long as they keep Exum in check though..
Not often you come up against a Boomers squad member in an Under 17 Competition..

On the boys side - YES I think there are. All of them are great I'm sure but in terms of stars.... Look out for these names Jack Purchase. Dante Exum. Cade Towers. Darcy Malone for height might work out as a 'star' too, this yr will give a good sign as to how he'll go.

Another good solid win by the Australian mens under 17 team beating New Zealand 86 to 48. They have now qualified for the under 17 world championship.

Top scorer with 18 points goes to Dante Exum, with Mirko Djeric turning it on for 15 points, 6 rebounds, and 9 assists.

Felix Von Hofe and Jack Purchase again made a big contribution with 8 points (6 rebounds) and 14 points.

It seems we have learnt from the first under 17s W/Cs and have developed a much better team than last time.
