Bendigo Braves import quits, heads to Japan

Full story at The Bendigo Advertiser: http://ow.ly/6ZanD

POPULAR import Ivan McFarlin will not be on the basketball court with the Symes Motors Bendigo Braves next season.

The 2011 east conference MVP told the Braves his decision to leave the Bendigo club was for family reasons.

McFarlin will leave Australia to line up in Japan's BJ National League, which begins next month and concludes in April.

The Japanese schedule will allow the talented player to spend more time with his young family in the United States.

Very good import who served his club well. Time to chase some good coin in the J league.
