The "All-time Hard Men" of the NBL?

Would anyone like to nominate players for the list of "Hard Men of the NBL"? I'll get us started,
Dean Uthoff
Andrew Vlahov
Mark Bradtke
Chris Blakemore
Grant Kruger

If you were picking a current team of Hard-Men, you could just name the entire Wildcats squad.

Past players not yet mentioned - Darren Lucas, Matt Garrison, Dan Clausen, Al Green, Mal Dalgliesh, Ray Borner, Mark Leader, Jim Havrilla .....

anyone remember Alex Morganlowe from the 1993 Newcastle Falcons, smoked a pack a day and was frequently drunk at practice? Epitomy of the 90s basketball hard man.

Martin Cattalini??

Darren Ng?? (j/k)

Thaddeus Delaney?? Still remember "Cement Block" smashing a backboard and literally breaking the whole basket support structure in a game in Brisvegas that I was there for. Game was delayed in starting for nearly an hour while they repaired the hydraulics of the support.

What about current crop? Not much to speak of IMO.

Sixers certainly don't have anyone I'd desribe as a hard-man. Here lies the problem!

once saw troy pilon dunk, hang on the rim and kick a defender in the face whilst hanging. During a 90s state league game, when you could get away with that sort of caper!

Peter Ali - loved the way he played the game
Larry Sengstock - there's a reason it's called the Sengstock Medal
There's a reason Al Green was called Mean Al Green

Also - have to agree with thedoctor on Bradtke
I never saw Steve Breheny play but the way he coached was pretty hard - ask Damian Keough

Ray Gordon
Jim Havrilla
Jeff Arnold

Here's a clip of Jim Havrilla breaking the backboard in an NBL dunk comp:

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ewDP8gtiA6k

Jeff Arnold is easily the biggest guy I've ever seen in the NBL, about 6'10" and built like a WWE wrestler. Think he might've even been in an NBL dunk comp in the mid-90's, they year it was in Adelaide?

He was an import for Geelong.

Ray Gordon was a bit hard and very edgy. Apparently did more damage to teammates at training than he did to opposition in a game.
