NBL Attendance - Round 6

Round 6 in the life and times of the NBL Attendances. Took a while for some to come through but got `em now.

Breakers vs Hawks - 3,300 @ NSEC (80%)
Tigers vs Crocodiles - 2,972 @ SNC (85%)
Blaze vs Wildcats - 3,488 @ GCCC (66%)
36ers vs Kings - 5,049 @ AA (63%)
Taipans vs Wildcats - 4,513 @ CCC (85%)

Total Attendance - 19,322 (74%)
Round Average - 3,864.4
2010-11 Rd.6 Total Attendance - 18,905 (80%)
2010-11 Rd.6 Round Average - 3,781

Breakers vs Hawks wasn't such a bad crowd in the scheme of things I guess. Good win for the Hawks though.

Not even 3,000 at the Tigers/Crocs game.....interesting. Crowds are slipping a bit there.

Blaze/Wildcats wasn't a bad crowd IMO. The Blaze aren't world beaters and the crowd for them wasn't all that bad.

Another good Adelaide crowd let down by a 6th straight loss at home (going back to last season) but hey, we made a better game of it than we did 3 weeks ago. Great to see an NBL game where BOTH teams score over 100 pts (even if it was OT), in total contrast to the game in Cairns on Sunday night. Just a note, Adelaide haven't won at home since the 1 point win over Perth in Rd.15 last year.....23 January :/

Speaking of Cairns, a good crowd at the Convention Centre IMO. Pity they got a low scoring game though.

21,000 without Melbourne and Sydney, gee that's pretty bloody good.

I'm not how fickle the basketball fans on the Gold Coast are, but if Blaze keep playing the way they did against Perth they should be increasing their crowd numbers.
