Gill named NBL POTW

Gill had 30/4/7 in a road OT win.

Runner up was Deleon with 21/5/8 points, beating Perth on the Gold Coast.

Next came Tragardh with 26 and 14 in a home loss, and R Martin for his 20 points in a road win in NZ.

Lastly, 27 and 8 from Khazzouh in beating Adelaide in OT.

Others considered for Player of the Week for Round Six included Daniel Johnson (Adelaide), Kevin Ratszch (Sydney), Peter Crawford (Townsville), Mark Worthington (Gold Coast), Chris Warren (Adelaide) and Jamar Wilson (Cairns).

Plenty of good candidates this week but I think they got it right.

Thought he was the clear choice.
Pretty well single handedly won Townsville the game.

Was really hoping Khazzouh wouldn't win it. A good portion of his stats were handed to him.

Also Johnson scored 25 on him so Khazzouh really didn't deserve it.

Nice output from Martin in NZ, but he missed a few FTs at the end and it wasn't a close game.

Gill definitely the worthy recipient this week.

Gill was a one man show in the second half. I second everyones thoughts. See if he can back it up this week.

I think he is great. I like how he was disappointed with his self and how he gave all the credit to his teammates. He was upset with his free throw shooting, I saw in an interview that he is mad at himself for how he is shooting the ball from the line this year. To me he is the best floor general in the NBL.
