Having one less fwd will help rotations for the hawks who are trying to fit minutes for everyone which has led to erratic subbing. More minutes for Larry and Oscar at the four spot.

Yeah he did. Shame Ben Dowdell has gone to footy. Vanderjagt would be a pretty good replacement though, and fill a hole inside given their other three bigs like to play away from the basket.

Was thinking last night about how Diamon Simpson would probably fit the Hawks roster pretty well. (Probably most rosters in the league except for maybe NZ or Townsville.)
So good to see an import come in, respect the league and give it everything rather than coast (e.g., Reyes from the Hawks a few years back).

Strange that Lang is now in the Tigers ten. Would of offered the Hawks a big and tall body.
