Patty Mills scores 28 and 8 assists in China debut

Not bad for a debut. If he continues this is there a chance of an NBA return?

His team is 2/0 since he arrived and he was their leading scorer with 20 points in his second game.

Up against league leading Beijing right at this moment going head to head with Marbury.

lol @ dud

Great effort by Mills. Surely his game will impress Martin whom could help him get a deal in the NBA

This must be massive for Mills to be scoring so heavily whilst amongst serviceable NBA players and to double the opposing team's point guard's score who himself has put up huge numbers in his time in the NBA (granted he had a lot more assists than Patty). Maybe this was a good move? If only he was big enough to play the 2 spot!

Great to hear this. Seems what he learnt in the NBL has really helped him hit China running. Coming here and now China could really help his NBA chances next year.

The China league is not as good as the NBL. The imports are paid a lot more and that generaly translates into them being of higher quality but the locals are mostly a few steps down in standard to the NBL and as they have a lot more teams the depth is lacking. Imports have a lot more of the scoring load to carry and the defense is not even cklose to NBL standards. JR Smith had 52 points, 22 rebounds, 4 assists and 7 steals last game.
