Clippers to have better record than lakers?

With the chris Paul trade the clippers obviously get a whole lot better, on the other hand the lakers have gone backwards so far this offseason. my money is on th clippers to have a better record than the lakers.

New Orleans just got better. Thats a lot to pay for a 6 foot ball hog. They already had Chauncey. Clippers might implode!!

Eric Gordon will become the next "Star" at the hornets.

With alot of work on his passing he will be worth twice what he is now in 2 seasons.

The wolves pick is looking like a lottery pick, they better hope c.paul doesnt walk in 2 years.

Easy guys lets not forget how good CP3 is, and he is walking onto a team with Blake Griffin who dunks everything. Clippers will be very good, will at worst get within 5 wins of Lakers i think.

Clippers having to give up Eric Gordon really gonna hurt them. Imagine a starting group of CP3, Gordon, Butler, Griffin and Jordan... With Billups off the bench playing 1/2 for 35 mins a game!!! pity they couldn't rid themselves of Mo or Bledsoe instead

Clipper still have ALOT of work to do. They have four point guards, no back up centre and virtually no bench. They have to move Williams and Bledsoe and get some depth at SG.

Foye and Gomes just don't have enough to compete in substantial minutes.

I think Chris Paul is being terribly underrated here. Look what he's done with the Hornets last season with a very similar roster.

C Jordan vs Okafor
PF Griffin vs West (no West for the playoffs)
SF Butler vs Ariza
SG Foye/Billups vs Belinelli
PG Paul vs Paul

Mo Williams vs Jarrett Jack of the bench
Jordan and Okafor a both shot blockers that offer very little offensively. Griffin and West are allstars, both can create their own shot. West has far better range but Griffin is a little athletic ;) Butler is a solid 3rd option on offence who is a reasonable defender, Ariza is a good defender but not fantastic offensively. Foye and Billups are spot up scorers as is Belinelli. Williams and Jack are both shooters who are going to shoot alot.

Similar sort of roster and Paul took it to the Lakers in the first round. Imagine a rematch in the first round with the Lakers a year older minus Odom and Brown + the Clippers will have their AllStar Power Forward. Would be an exciting series!

Can't win squat with Mo Williams on your team. He has to be traded, fast.

And everyone is forgetting that Griffin & Paul will collide in the first game rupturing ACLs in both of their respective knees simultaneously, while Caron Butler will reinjure himself while trying to assist them off court.

It's the Clippers...

People really need to ease off. This team has A LOT to prove before they are contenders.

Mo Williams should be traded for a sg or backup centre
