Why did Ebi Ere never make NBA?

Gun in Europe/NBL and from Oklahoma. Why did he never make NBA?

Good size and elite shooter.

In the NBA he'd be just another athletic wing.

Probably couldn't handle the ball well enough.

Very raw offensively.

Ebi is at his best as an aggressive scorer, but he isnt good enough to do that in the NBA. His talent level is that of an NBA role player.

His abilities are inflated at lower levels, nothing special at that elite level... hard to comprehend, but try to think about all the simialr wings, you have never seen or heard of throughout the years, because they were busy never making the NBA but carving up the level below in various European countries. Plus he just got fat towards the end of his run the NBL haha

Too small for NBA SG, lack of athleticism, not a great shooter but a good volume scorer.

Dime a dozen in the NBA.

Yeh look with a guy like Ebi, its a flick of a coin. theres a heap of guys like him in the states. yes he could very well play on an NBA roster but like many players similar to him, they didnt quite make it and are playing all over the world.

When he played with the Bullets, he was like d-wade of the NBL...there is no doubt on a good day, ebi was capable of being more than a role player on an nba team..he didn't have the best handle but to be honest given the lack of consistent defence not many swingman players in the NBA do, only pgs like cp3..watching how often players like d-wade get away with travels or getting there pocket picked by euro style defence of sefolosha its hard argument to swallow that ebi's handle wasn't good enough.

He had one really big year in the nbl, but I'm not sure he was quite the d wade!
