Looks like Oscar thew the hammer down on the sixers though. 22 points and a win. I know which one I would prefer.

Nice one BJF, wish I could have seen that live! For that matter, wish we saw a bit more of that from Creek at home this year.

Oscar did throw the hammer down on us, but he doesn't play the same position as Creek, so its not a matter of preferring one over the other.

A better way to look at it is, would you prefer Oscar or Balls?

Interesting thought process

Same size and same capacity on d and the glass

Balls perhaps more consistent at both ends

Oscar more explosive and younger (?)

Balls more $ and more points which then impacts on the parts you can out around him

Oscar not coming off a big injury

Yeah, its an interesting question BJF. Not a massive fan of either player as both are limited in what they can do defensively and on the boards.

In the end it would come down to how much you have to pay either to get them on your roster. Both useful players if they don't cost too much. Ie, no more than your 3rd highest player, hopefully your 4th highest.

Oscar has shown he needs a good PG to really score, to much rely's on his 3 shot. Not old enough to provide the same leadership as Ballinger
Ballinger is able to make his own shots and score with little time left, doesnt rely on a good pg to score 20+ in a game.

Either way it was nice to see Creek get a dunk in..few missus this year!! Also shows what the no charge zone can bring to the game.
