I think he is concentrating on his own career.
but I suppose he should be doing that 24/7.
Some of you people are never happy he opens his academy for other people to use and all you can do is criticize

i applaud a player showing interest in more than pubs, being whores, having an attitude problem etc. good for him. why wait til youre retired to have healthy interests outside the game. it would be great if there were more like him to be honest. at least the guy is interesting and can hold a conversation.

Greg: It aint cheap?
Mate, you must be one stingy bloke.
I heard its 50 bucks a session for on court, weights and pool access?
That seems more than fair to me.

Lets see. Court rental at a local gym is usually $20 p.h.
Local Weights/Gym: $10-15
Local Pool $10-15

Thats around $50 per hour right there.

Can anyone confirm the pricing?

Any chance of one popping up in Adelaide :)?

Hobart next please. You should see the crap courts that we have to use. Tried to hoast an U16 nationals a few years back, they took one look ath the proposed facilities and ran off laughing.

I dont think andrew would be profiting a great deal by lending his name. Its probably more like his management team here establishing the venture.
Its good to see him trying to give back to the sport.

No tall poppy stuff here. Im just saying u have an academy for being great - not cause u made the most money but played the least due to injury!

Great to see. With Bogut being injured he has put a bit of time into business ventures to set himself up for life after basketball...smart man if you ask me - and he contiues to give back.

Key - this is not a case of Andrew simply 'lending' his name to a venture. This is something that he is truly passionate about, and another avenue that he has setup for himself post-playing. He has been hands on in designing and fitting out the facility over the past five years, and has hand picked the people involved to run the programs.
