Nick Horvath and Jason Crowe are both playing great as imports. Horvath has to be on the Tall Blacks team later in the year

I doubt Horvath will play for the Tallblacks Cell.

if memory serves me correctly he took out NZ citizenship to play for the Tall Blacks and has served his time since naturalisation ( or he has a new zealand wife)

Pretty sure on this from years of reading on the forum.

If someone knows for sure then i stand corrected.

That's true, but Casey Frank took the one naturalised spot last time.

I think Horvath was in semi-retirement at the time though. Horvath is a far, far better player than Frank.

In fact Horvath would still be one of the best big men in our NBL.

He wasn't last time he played here. And given that he's naturalised and no one is touching him suggests not many people agree with you.

He was never used properly at the Dragons but certainly was with the 36ers.

Perhaps Horvath enjoys having his steady job teaching in Palmerston North and does not want to play NBL? Its a strong possibility.
