What are Houston's plans for Diamon?
They sign him but he doesnt even come up on box scores.
What does the club plan to do with him>?

I would say.....
Use him in their Summer League team.
See he is any good.
If so keep him for training camp.
See how he compares to the rest of the squad.
Sign him as the 15th player or release him.
To be honest they are probably concentrating on why they SUCKED so much during the last 2 weeks and blew their chance at making the playoffs.
They sucked because mediocre teams who are on a good run, eventually will always run out of steam. Its just sooooo ridiculously tight year in year out for that 6-8 mark in the West.
As for Diamon, agree just locking him up so no one else discovers him, but wont cause much noise in the NBA, atleast not with the Rockets. Training pawn for their bigs was perhaps the reasoning for the initial signing.

Another product of the St Mary's College basketball program in California, I do hope he gets a break and can show something in the minutes he recieves whether it is NBA level or Summer League...
He has a reasonable scoring record and a very good colllege record, at 6' 7" with his abilities he now needs to show confidence in himself to give his coaches something to think about.
Don't like to think that he would just be someone elses pushing bag at training, probably has more to offer than that!
Good luck to him, let's hope he does a Lin or a Mills and creates a wave or two when his turn comes around...
The question I have is he better than Brad Newley. They drafted him and he has not played. It is probably because he can get more money in europe. Players out of Oz do not risk much to try.
