what a comeback by the Russians. won by 3 after icing free throws with 5 seconds left and Spain didn't get a shot off.
this kills our chances now, 4th is what we're aiming for unless results all fall our way. shoulda beaten Brazil.

Amazing game! Russia were 2-20 down after the first few minutes! Fridzon was awesome in that second quarter, he gets better and better all the time.
Spain targeted Shved early in the game - Russia's weak spot - but Blatt responded by sitting him for most of the game and the rest of their makeshift guards did very well. Surprised Spain werent up the court more though after their successful initial burst.
Russia were dominant in Caracas and Im not surprised they beat Spain, although I tipped them for bronze but they have now avoided the USA until the gold medal game if they make it.
Still,
WTF? Wanted to watch this on fox, said it was starting at 9pm and never showed the game. 8 channels and they keep showing absolute shit that has no aussies and missed the game of the tourney. Pissed Off!!!
