The Opals take on a tough Canadian team tonight.
Interesting to note that Australia's conqueror in France is thrashing Russia as I type. So if we win, we finish 2nd in our group.
I won't be staying up for this one as I need to catch up on sleep ahead of work and the basketball finals this coming week...

Still a big lead at qtr time.
Ch 9 ran interviews with rowers for the entire 2nd term....aaargh

The Opals have no offence other than give it to Cambage. Which isn't a bad offence, but it would be good to see something else other than that and bricks thrown up.
Mid range jumpers do not exist other than the odd Jackson cameo.

full game on fox.
canada have been in good form just losing several games - really pushed opals.
we look tired but can get somewhere if we want.
at the end of teh day we need to beat us to win it if it is in semi final of gold medal game.
anyway we need to match up with china or turkey first.
refereeing in men and women drives me crazy.
harrower gets hacked and loses handle on the ball then goes for an offensive foul.

Opals won 72-63.
Cambage had 19&4 with 4 blocks, Jackson 18&9, Snell 12&4 and O'Hea 9&7.

how long will it be before free to air TV is taken over by pay tv?
again nine show enough to get fans excited and then go to interviews and gymnastics...

Still question Graf's rotation of players. Jackson has been quiet these past few games. Will need some others to step up other than the usual girls in order to beat the US team.
