I like to imagine during these threads that Quagmire has the day off work, has the laptop on the couch in front of some NBA DVDs, is getting tipsy by about 11am and then starts the internal monologue. By 11:15, he's thinking "Getting a bit bored talking to myself, Hoops might help..." ;)

I think i have to declare Jeff Hornacek the greatest American white shooting guard of the last 20 years!!!!

Him and Jim Paxon.

Wally Szcerbieak? Hornycek probably gets the nod over him though..

Thunder Dan is still a phenomenal shooter.

As a Suns assistant coach, he does this thing now before games where he sits on the bench and hits shots...
while seated... on the bench.....

i saw 3 in a row,
just rediculous.

Mullin. Enough of a shooting guard. Hell, he was a Dream Team member.

Yes there's been some average ones.

But being a white man is a privilege in itself as Louis CK so eloquently points out - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TG4f9zR5yzY

Danny Ainge was on a par with Hornacek, I'd have thought. Each was a 1 time all star, Hornacek scored more ppg across his career but Ainge got 2 champiomships and Hornacek got none. For mine, I always noticed Ainge more than Hornacek during games - probably his temper!

BTW, Majerle was a 4 time all star.

Ginobli sure is a versatile player, but for my money I still gotta go with Majerle. When a guy used to hit a deep 3 in pick up games in the mid 90's it was referred to as 'Dan Majerle' distance. Majerle was great on court and in the golden age of NBA Jam..."He's on Fire"

Hope that helps with the inner monologue Quagmire :)
