Khazzough signs in Lebanon

Big khazzough has signed with Lebanon club Sagesse - long deal and looking to play for Lebanon in qualifiers.

Sixers played Sagesse (also known as Hekmeh) in the 1999 McDonald's Championship for 5th place.

Both JK and his agent have tweeted overnight "don't always believe what you read", but unsure what exactly it was in relation to, whether it was the length of the contract or national team rumours, etc...

Last year, American-born Sam Hoskin was stripped of his Lebanese nationality after being accused of playing in the Israeli league.

The Lebanese Parliament passed a new law that prevents sports clubs from recruiting foreign players who have received a work permit in Israel.

"We solved the issue with the Lebanese judiciary, as he [Khazzouh] played in Israel with his Australian passport," Sagesse’s former captain and current president Elie Mchantaf said

Supposedly the 6 year deal is for $2 million but given everything that is going on in Lebanon at the moment I wouldn't bother.
