Now we have Jonny why not Kenyon Martin?

He can't find a home in the NBA, He has already played in china (so his not shy to hop countries) his old but still would be a bonus for the NBL publicity wise.. He's a solid player, the crowd would love his style of play... You never know these days...

He would be a upgrade on Abney you would think, and bring some excitement/positive press to the Crocs, if he would play for 100-150k (surely the Crocs have the cap space) and bring a good attitude it would be money well spent imo.

Crocs have at least 200k in cap space but no way they will spend it.

All very well to say they need to spend money to make money and see success, but that sort of gambling is what puts clubs under.

If another team comes into the league soon, it will put more pressure on them though. Force them to do things like retain Cedars, Hinder, Allen, etc.

keyon would be an absolute problem from a team point of view and not a biggest enough name to draw large numbers from non-regular basketball people IMO

I'd rather have someone who hasn't made the NBA yet but is in their prime and trying to improve their game to get in rather than pay someone mega bucks just because they used to be good. Kenyon Martin would cost a bomb, how much more effective would he be than say Seth Scott, Gary Wilkinson?

Martin did very little in his stint in China. Mills was far more dominant in his short stay.

Like Isaac said there is no point in breaking the bank now, especially when the season is pretty much already over. All Townsville can do is learn from the experience not to be so cheap, and clean out as much deadwood as possible come season's end.

I'm not saying that need to spend to the full cap, just next time acknowledge that you needed two impact imports. It would still have them way under the salary cap.

Surely their (Crocs) current imports wouldn't have cheap? I think they have tried to lift the team, but for some reason it isn't working on the floor.

So that's why they call him the Birdman!

Martin only plays when he has a point to prove and like in China if he came here it wouldn't work. His goal is to play NBA or spend his money he isn't a global journeyman like others and the only reason he played in china was to keep playing for nba shape and the millions he would be payed 200k in Australia no chance

I think the real question is:

If the US elects Mitt Romney, does that mean Obama is available for the Crocs?
