Does that kill his chances for MVP?

I don't think the NBL has any rule about eligibility.

Good decision.

If it was Shane Warne that threw the chair, this incident would be all over the national news. I know the NBL doesn't rate with mainstream media, but I would have thought this would have been interesting enough to at least get a play of the day mention?? Didnt hear anything about this except on the NBL website and this forum.

the only way Madgen is winning MVP is if Cedric Jackson gets run over by a bus Anon.

Pleaded guilty, 1 game suspended sentence too.

Probably got off very lightly.

This is great news.

Looking forward to seeing Madge get shut down by Gibbo.

In any other league this would be a fair, pending on the league lengthy suspension!!!#

I know Joe and he would be devastated to find out a dick bag like you likes him.

Just fuck off

If he was smart he would now sue the NBL $100K for injuries suffered to his shoulder as a result of colliding with the chair! Workplace Injuries can be expensive.

he also has been suspended from 1 game
could be very bad for the kings, hopefully we will be able to play well without the star player for one game,
but still $1000, seems a little much.

@Jye...

Yeah probably a good opportunity to put some big money on the Sixers this week with Madgen out.

The game is a suspended game so if he has to face the tribunal again before the end of the season, then he automatically will miss a game. Pretty sure he'll be playing this weekend.

If Rondo gets one game for 'bumping' a ref, then Magden should get 3 games for throwing a chair at a ref. Bullshit.

Heard he's going to Today Tonight as he was told he'd get another throw as the chair didn't knock the ref down!

Honestly a Tech and fine would've done it. He never targetted the ref.

If it was in the NBA he wouldda got a couple of games at least

2 shots and side ball, game would've out ove reach. Love the emotion that guy has and sport is taking that away which is unfair! As long with in reason why cant u ask the ref or say f that? As long its not constant the whole game. Just killing it! Nba is bad for that shit!

There was still 2:14 to go on the game clock and the score was 66-62. Hardly game over
