New Mexico vs. Boise State, 1/16/13

Of course Greenwood and Bairstow play for the Lobos and Drmic and Hadziomerovic play for the Broncos. Boise is getting votes in both polls and the Lobos are as high as 19th. Boise is the home team and really needs to protect their home court. Boise is a one point favorite.

Bairstow has become a growing force to be reckoned with as the season has progressed. Look for the Lobos to take advantage of the inside game while Boise draws Bairstow outside with Drmic playing the 4 spot.

New Mexico wins 79-74 in overtime. Undersized Boise did a great job defensively in taking away New Mexico's inside game.

Greenwood played a great game, probably the best this season. 15 points on 50% shooting, lead the team with 7 rebounds. Played 30 minutes in spite of spending the prior 24 hours throwing up and on an IV. Scored the basket it send the game into OT and made 5 points in the overtime. An amazing gutsy performance.

I wish they played this game on ESPN.
It would been a great game to Watch.
With SDSU losing to UNLV, New Mexico will be the best ranked team in the Mountain West come Tuesday. If they keen winning for the rest of the conference play, they should end up with a good seed in the NCAA tournament.

Need to start showing all more of these games with Aussie stars. Greenwood and Drmic are future Boomers.
