Crocs vs Hawks, Jan 19

Crocs up 9 partway through the fourth. Davidson has fouled out.

Gotta feel for the gong. Not to many teams in the league could travel to N.Z without their starting backourt and almost get a win, and back it up against townsville (to their credit really). Will be tough to hang on to that 4th spot with on going injury problems. Good oppurtunity for sixers, crocs and tigers though.

Crocs are the best of the teams outside the 4, I.M.O. Really rate woolpert as a coach. They are definately coming.

Larry Davidson is such a disappointing basketball player.

Perth and New Zealand are so used to only fearing each other, however, this is probably the first time in a few years that they should actually start fearing someone else too. The Croc's aren't quite at their level, but at this rate they might be soon

Still so much work to do for the crocs after digging such a big hole, will need to win 8 of the last 11 to be 50% and a chance to play finals. With two games against perth they will need to jag at least one and then sydney 3 games and Hawks 2 games the door is open but will need a couple 4 or 5 game winning streaks. Here's hoping!

Unless someone gets on a real roll 13 wins and season splits might be enough to get fourth spot this year.

Gary Ervin is actually playing better than when he won league mvp.

I like the Crocs chances of a top 4 finish
once holmes returns towards the end of the season

Hinder is in surprising form and is benefiting from extra playing time - however the mistake of keeping allen and cedar will deny any advancement in the playoffs

mitch norton would have to be up there for ROTY award

Norton is not a rookie.

the run home:

@Perth - L
vKings - W
vTaipans - W
@Perth - L
@Wollongong - W
@Cairns - W
@Sydney - W
vHawks - W
vTigers - W
@Sydney - W
@Melbourne - W

Final record of 15-13
They should finish 3rd

I agree about Ervin Mick. His outside game and free throw shooting have vastly improved since his spell at the Hawks.

fstos, leadership as well. He is leading by example the right way, as opposed to how he did it while he was with wollongong.

Spursfan Norton is a rookie. Didn't play enough games last season to forfeit his rookie eligibility this year. Had a horror run of injuries.

Absolutely love the way he gets to the rim.

Whoever has messed up his jumpshot at crocs hq needs a stern talking to though. Thw kid used to be a lights out shooter from everywhere but now his shot is flat and with a sideways spin. Almost as if Jacob Holmes had taught him how to shoot...

I'm looking forward to this weeks game, Townsville are the last team to visit Perth this season and I think it's a blockbuster game but shame that Jacob Holmes isn't playing.

Playoffs should be Perth (1st) vs. Sydney (4th) and New Zealand (2nd) vs. Townsville (3rd)

If be more fearful of a fit Crocs team in the grand final than an undersized, old, slow Breakers team of whom their deficiencies this season have really shown up against the wildcats

I guess at 6-11 the Crocs don't have any deficiencies?
