She would want to recruit more than just Jackson if she wants to win another championship. I think she has lost touch with coaching, (or lost the budget).

I think we're all saying the same thing - can Graf only succeed when she has Lauren in the team?

Does her coaching philosophy need someone like a Lauren before it will succeed?

don't all coaches only succeed with the right players? can have the best coach in the world, but without the team to support it, you can go nowhere!

Graf has coached one premiership without her, ans lost one Grand Final 2000/01 with her ( that was the one where ACT Basketball had spend several thousands of dollars on "capitals dynasty " on them to sell after the game.

Can't dispute she has a great record. But she's had some stacked rosters over the years.

Her 2 Coach of the Year award came minus Jackson when her teams finished 2nd (won GF) and 3rd. Mind you she still had Bibby, Bishop (who went when Grima passed for Bulleen), Beatty, Abrams, Sharp and Bevilaqua!

This year LJ's loss was crushing with Bibby, Wilson and Cosier wearing down, and Dombkins and Ardossi ok at best.

Hunt, Lavey, Bunton are all promising so lets see what 2013-14 brings.

Great coaches know how to work with nothing and get success

Coahes of great players get lost when great players leave of get injuried

ie Great Coaches ...George Karl at the Bucks had the smallest player pay roll in his time there but was able to produce great talent year in year out

Gerg Popovich another has taken player no one else wants and won championships with them hence talent for talent does he have the best talent no but he has the best team

John Longmire in AFL player for player in talent does he have the best players no .....but he has the best team

Great Coaches can make great players and great teams

And in other cases great players make great coaches until they leavee Grag hope Jackson can get fit for you real quick
