Thanks alot. Is this just player salaries or total budget? Ie doctors, coaches, equipment etc included?

Interesting to note pretty much every team has a bigger budget than Nbl teams.

Also euro still a fair way off NBA money wise but doing well!

That would be a guestimate of complete budgets for the club's operations I think. But keep in mind a lot of spending has been cut back considerably since the European economy went downhill.

Most NBL clubs would be in the $2.5 - $3.5 million range, which tends to get you a lot more than the converted equivalent in Euros.

That's optimistic to say the least.

> It's the total budget. For example, CSKA has 16 million euros just for player's net income. Then 2 million euros for the player's costs (apartments, etc.), then you have the taxes for the players also that the clubs pay for the players.

In a club like Olympiacos, it's the same, only the net salaries of the players is 8 million euros.

Then you go to a club like Partizan, where it's the same, but the net salaries of the players is 2 million euros.

Still, the teams are paying the taxes for their players and their living expenses, even in the club's with the smallest budgets.

This is true. Just before the economic crash, Olympiacos' budget was $70 million and CSKA's budget was $60 million. Panathinaikos was near that range also.

The economic crisis has greatly lowered the budgets across the board. Even a club like Khimki has a way lower budget now than they used to back when they were not even playing in Euroleague.
