Hinder Blasts "Doubters" on twitter

Russell Hinder has a message for Crocs fans doubting his priority in the rotations over Luke Nevill:

"Hey haters. Townsville isn't THAT big. Come find me. Say it to my face. I'd love to hear just how much u THINK u know abt hoop! #15strong,"

What a muppet.

Why can't they just come out and admit that they went made a call and it didn't work? No shame in that. The stats with Nevill compared to Hinder on the defensive end are so black & white in favour of Nevill that it boggles the mind.

Wouldn't go that far, but he certainly isn't doing himself any favours here.

He has a long history in Townsville of poor performances in big / elimination games and not backing up his talk with walk that no one has ever called him out on...

I havent seen the rant on Twitter, but by the sounds of it, its extremely unprofessional. He's in the public eye, he needs to accept criticism whether he likes it or not - and his efforts on court definitely backs that up anyway.

Players need to be fined for going to social media and being a tool, its making the league look really poor.

as a professional athlete he should have got the "haters" back by helping his team win some games and not talk smack on social media.

Not the first time this season he has had a general swipe at criticism. Both he and Ervin claimed people "weren't real fans" after calling them out for their insipid perfomances in the first ten games of the season.

That's what ex-player mates are for. If he is feeling the pressure like that, that's when you get a mate who played with you to talk your skills up, not talk the fans down. When you talk the fans down you run the risk of looking like a douche bag.

And when the jury has come back on that ruling a long time ago, you really have to be extra careful what you say...

How do you think Nevill feels in this situation?

The Crocs are trying to get him to commit to a contract extension right now. And he is sitting in fourth quarters behind Rusty. Then this nonsense from the so called "leader" of the team.

Ervin was critical of Woolpert on Instagram after the loss to the Hawks a couple weeks back: f1_erv3_gga - "Wasn't in foul trouble Cuzzo, idk what the fuck coach was doing word."

Deleon tweeted something similar after he was benched during a game earlier in the season. What is wrong with these people?

As much as it's stupid for these guys to be doing that, benching your two highest paid and most productive players in crunch time is equally insane...

Mick, didn't the Crocs have more luck against the Hawks when they ran the bench for a while?

Not doubting that Isaac, but the issue with Woolpert is failure to recognise when a "changed up" line up has run its course and starting to deliver diminished returns. He waits for the other team to adapt to the "change up" and instead of then countering that adaption with a different look he rides it out too long. The two units should be supplementing each other...

There are times when we go small and it's working but then you can see it's starting to fall apart (small unit is generally full of weaker, younger players), and right when you think, "ok, that worked, let's quit while we are ahead and hit them with Nevill for the knock out punch" he leaves the small ball team on until the opposing coach adjusts and gets even again.

Mick, you definitely have a keen insight! How did you go in the application process for the coaching job when Gleeson left? Did you get a fair chance from the Crocs powers that be?

Oh sorry anon I forgot that you cant criticize coaching decisions as a fan without applying for a coaching position for credibility.
