Gliddon named NBL Rookie of the Year

No surprise there. Played with confidence.

Think it shows you don't have to go to a big college or play on ESPN during your college career to be a good player.

Great pick up by Cairns and excellent season from Gliddon, i think he can be a real star in this comp in a season or two.

He definitely grew as the season went and looked every bit an NBL started by the end. A good decision maker and defender, which are good building blocks.

Realistically though, 17 of his 27 games he scored six points or less and he only shot 29% on three-pointers, so he has plenty of work to do to make sure he produces his best more often next season.

Obviously that should say 17 of 28, hit the wrong key!

Not sure if he will be a star, but I predict a solid career as an unflashy, underrated player who does things that earn Ws is ahead of him.
