Ill start by saying that I think the Nuggets and Saints are the teams to beat.

If only Horvath would play in the NBL again, dominates in NZ.
A couple of interesting import signings in Andrew Warren (ex-Cairns), Erron Maxey (ex-Gold Coast) and Kevin Braswell (ex-NZB/Melb). I quite liked Maxey's game and was a bit surprised the Blaze didn't re-sign him.
Can't believe Mark Dickel is still going around is he still coach of the Albanian national team?

Erron Maxey's not listed as an import. That can't be right..
I'd love to be able to watch the NZNBL but can never find a streaming link!

Horvath is playing this season , he only retired to do some work in the hobbit movies

I reckon Warren would come back a much better player 2nd time around.
Warren has played good preseason for the Saints. They've signed a 2nd import to Bryant Markson 6'6 Small Forward who last played with Shiga Lakestars in Japan
Just not in the NBL in general. He shot 39% from the field and 34% on 3's in 2011/12 with the Taipans.

Wellington Saints beat Taranaki Mountain Airs 85 - 74. Andrew Warren shot 9/28 Yikes!
Wellington Saints 115 Waikato Pistons 84. Tai Webster with 19 for Waikato.
Nelson Giants 82 Manawatu Jets 67. Josh Pace 25 for Nelson.
Otago Nuggets 111 Waitakere Rangers 77. Benny Anthony 34 Points 12 Rebounds for Otago.
