Absolutely. He was taking dumb shots back then too, you just get a bit blind as a fan when the dumb shots are dropping. It's just so frustrating that a guy who is so good at effort plays, scrapping for the ball and positioning for rebounds on defense would be so bad at getting easy buckets (ie. the ones you get from effort, scrapping and good positioning) on offense.
He is great as long as he is playing alongside older, veteran guys, and as long as there is plenty of inside scoring elsewhere on the roster. He's not the sort of guy that is going to really add value to a struggling team though, which came out last season.
The Crocs roster from last season was a bit short in the leadership department, and the inside scoring department, which just emphasised Holmes' deficiencies. I honestly hope he returns (at the right price) and we put a roster together that can complement his talents.
