Spurs @ Warriors Game 6

Can the dubs ride their home 'crowd' advantage and force a game 7 back in San Antonio?

I'm hoping they can, even if it's just to get to watch another battle between these two teams.

Hopefully Bogut's ankle is feeling a bit better (and Curry's too) as the Warriors need him to defend the paint.

It would be a shame if the series ends here with injury clouds over two such important players for Golden State, but that's the way it goes, you have to manage your list and in the finals it is often the team that can keep its best players on court longest that wins!

No matter the sport...

Go Bogey Man!!!

Dubs will get the W, if Andris Biedrins plays over 5 minutes

Don't forget Lee has missed nearly the entire series also for the dubs...

They are better without Lee. Huge contract and a sieve on defense.

From SWU's website:

Cougs to Meet in NBA Conference Semifinals

Baynes (Cairns, Australia) and Thompson (Ladera Ranch, Calif.) played together during the 2008-09 season, Baynes' senior year and Thompson's freshman season. The center and the guard have another link, they became the 30th and 31st Cougars to score 1,000 career points.

Bogut's ankle still troubling him I'm afraid as the Warriors trail 36-39 in the 2nd with 3min to go. He headed to the lokcer room to have it re-taped.

He has just checked back in...

Interesting, no Bogut and no Duncan in the final minutes...

Spurs will go through...... Unless there is a miracle!

Should have shut Bogut down after game 5 ankle tweak.

Such a huge risk considering his size and history.

Frsutrating that he was so close to heading into the offseason completely healthy for the first time in years.

Those Bogut stats I posted yesterday have certainly held up. From the minute he tweaked his ankle in game 5 the Warriors have struggled at both ends of the floor. Rest up big fella, and come back healthy next season. GSW are a young team with a bright future.

Spurs did it and didn't even need to call on Patty and Baynes during the round. Spurs looking dangerously deep.

Bad luck for the Dubs, they were damn close to knocking off the Spurs despite all their injury problems.

Bogut and Curry both looked gimpy in this game and Barnes going down should've been the final nail in the coffin, but they hung in there right to the end.

I think Jackson persisted for way too long with Biedrins in the 3rd quarter. Should've got Landry more involved instead.

Mick, I think you're way off on David Lee. Sure, he's no Bogut on defence, but if healthy, his offence almost certainly would have helped win this series for the Warriors.

It was obvious in today's game that the Dubs needed a big man who could score consistently in the paint. The Spurs were staying tight on Curry and Thompson and the Warriors needed to attack the paint in order to open up the perimeter. Unfortunately Bogut doesn't have the touch from 10 ft so its a dunk or nothing for him and between the Spurs bigs and Biedrins getting in the way, Bogut just didn't have a lane to get there.

Very happy to see my Spurs back in the WCF. Disappointed for the Warriors, amazing crowd and love seeing Curry play.
