Bogey, we're proud of ya, mate

Considering all your injuries, you really produced the goods while you were healthy during the post-season.
I even switched to supporting the Warriors just because of you.

Good luck next season.

Great seeing his rebounding and defensive form, plus a solid playoff run by the Warriors (given Lee's limited play). There would've been many GSW fans unhappy with the Ellis-Bogut trade, but I doubt they're as negative about it now after seeing Bogut's impact and the improvement from Curry, Thompson, Barnes, etc.

Before he re aggravated the ankle he was top 3 for the Warriors through the playoffs. Hopefull the Basketball Gods smile on what's left of his career. Injury free run and improved free throw shooting please.

Amen.
Injuries have been very cruel to this guy. Excellent finish to the season though - it's been great to see something resembling his normal game again.
Hopefully he can now freshen up properly and get a fair crack at a full season in 13/14.

Bogey had a good finals series, Can't wait to see what he's like if he stays injury free for a season.

Remember when Bogut first played for the Boomers he had three point range? What happened? Now he can't even score from midrange. Is it all the elbow?

Mick - he's made 2 of 23 3 point attempts in 440 NBA regular season games. I think it's fair to say it's an area that he hasn't had to exercise in the NBA.

In the NBA seasons up to and includign 2009-10, his field goal percentage was 53.1% and in the 3 seasons since, it's been 48.1%. He takes almost the same shots per game across those two time periods (10.2 and 9.7).

Prior to the injury in April 2010, his lowest field goal percentage for a (regular) season was 51.1% in 2007-08 and he was shooting 52.0% in the season leading up to the injury. The following season (2010-11), he shot 49.0% but the next 2 seasons he's averaged only 45.0% in 44 games, taking 7.3 shots per game.

So it's a little bit about the elbow but probably more about the other injuries and lack of game time.

I think it's reasponable to put the difference down to all the elbow injury in April 2010.
