Can any one let me know what East Mavs & Norwood are like in the U/18 girls.

how did Sturt under 18 girls qualify?

thought they finished 5th at state champs.

How can we get 5 teams to U18 girls and only 3 to other competitions. Surely we are not that strong in u18 girls that our fifth best team gets an invite.

760 maybe it's a case of favourites, did anyone else get accepted or even asked before the 5th team in SA?

It surely lessens the credibility of the classics to think that 5 of the best 8 teams outside of Victoria are from SA. And we thought we had problems with girls participating in basketball.

there was always a vacant spot in u18s - look at interstate nominations - 1 space left because the interstate nominations were down.

there is one team in u18s that is a certain win when you play them - south - how did they even think of nominating a new div 1 team when their div 2s are last .... ?
will be interesting how many of these are still playing in 12 months given their current week in week out results.

otherwise u18 results are very close each week - sturt beat mavs but lost to tigers ?

nothing much between 1st and 6th

music maestro has nailed it - 1 interstate nomination short in 18 girls. So the 5th SA team got in (as SA nominated extras). Same reason Sturt missed out in 14 boys - an extra nomination (from Qld) took away 1 of the SA positions, so the 4th SA team missed out.
