Why not a "Revive the Brisbane Bullets" campaign?

Why doesn't someone set something like this up?

Similar but different to the savethecrocs.com campaign.

I would happily donate.

Thoughts?

I doubt it would get much traction. Townsville is struggling to get the numbers and they have just finished competing in an NBL season.

Couldn't hurt to try though.

Obviously Brisbane is the third largest city in Australia and is IMPERATIVE to the NBL.

It certainly wouldn't hurt to try this.

I'm in favour of a Brisbane team rather than Townsville

Brisbane really needs a team. Does anyone know what the latest progress is?

Who exactly gives them a license for re-admission, is it still BA or is it the newly formed NBL ie. the other teams?

Hard to see why teams wouldn't want Brisbane to return if its their decision, we have too much quality that can't make a roster (due to a couple of factors; salary cap, points system, opportunity etc)

Would this be for a solely community based Bullets team?

Wasn't Bruno Cullen trying to bring back the bullets last year? What is the go there (I know he's at Cronulla helping them)

There is no financial interest in Brisbane for an NBL team there what so ever.

Get rid of Townsville, add Brisbane, Wellington and south Melbourne return to 48min games. Top 4 playoffs.

You can't just "get rid of townsville and add brisbane". There is no ownership group or business interest in the Bullets.

The way the nbl is going won't need to worry about Townsville the league might not exist! Expect to see some of the following players try their luck in Europe , nevill, goulding, gliddon,Cadee, Ellis, Djeric, blanchfield. Can see a talent drain happening over next few years

Djeric will be lucky to see a basketball court inside of 3 months.
