Big V Youth Champ - D-League v Big V

Top 4's are set and finals fixture is out.

Where are all the SEABL loud mouths now?
VYCM finals there's 5 Big V teams and 3 SEABL teams.
In fact 7 of the top 10 are Big V, cop that.

Women's SEABL and their D-League sides are definitely stronger than Big V, i don't think there was ever any debate about that, 6 vs 2 made finals.

Why are people still carrying on with this? Why can we all not be unified and be happy all clubs have come together for the benfit of the sport?

Very happy with the merger, just found it funny when the D-League Men's comp had a lot of people saying the Big V teams couldn't cut it. The current model has been a success.

It is youth league...wouldn't read too much into it really...always alot of personel changes from year to year.

Prefer to look at it over a 2/3 year period so you get a few age groups thru as all clubs can have a weak year, college & injuries etc

agree with the personnel changes i mean look at nunawading their MVP Costa Hronopolous went up to SEABL this season, and they lost their all star centre Adam blackmore. Think if those 2 were in that lineup they would be top 2 for sure

Personnel change is a big factor from season to season, looking at the top 2 for BigV youth last season, DV lost a whole lot from that dominant 2012 team (Reynolds, Blicavs, Page) and Melbourne lost a lot to (Pineau, Von Hofe) so it is hard to judge from year to year. However the consistency of both those programs is hard to argue with, finals, year in year out.
