Melton Thoroughbreds D2M Champs!
A lot of hate when we talked it up this season, but we did what we said we would all along.
At 0-4 there were people all over us and there were topics made each week about of losses.
So we got to work, keep quiet and went 18-0 to finish the season, not many teams even got close after that.
A huge congratulations to the team and everyone at the club. The place was packed and it has to be one for the best atmospheres in Big V Basketball!
People will try and write this off and say it's only D2M, but the club has come a long way and for a club our size it's something we are extremely proud of.
We hope we can be playing D1M next year and be really competitive, make a few people notice. Most of all we are doing it with local players who want to play for the club and each other. Not a bunch of guys from all over town on $$ to turn up and jack shots each week.
To those who supported us, thank you. And I expect to hear from the others.
