Vickerman says they are already looking to make some adjustments with injury and a new baby altering plans for the Tigers series, resulting in a late call up for 7 foot tall 17-year-old development player Jack Salt with concern over an ankle injury to Alex Pledger opening the door to the Westlake Boys High School student.

Geez, he must have grown a bit overnight.

Last time I checked he was 6"9 - just a shade under 6"10.

Damn, wish our reporting (NZ media) of our players and the entire NBL could be a little bit better.

Anyway, on another note, Vickerman is said to be impressed with Johnson.

He is only 1.83m, but has a 1.98m wingspan which is pretty impressive.
Vickerman said it was a nice little bonus and clearly helps him make up for his small size defensively.
