Why sign a veteran when they could have signed young upandcomer Louis Timms.

Good on him, glad he gets a chance finally.

They don't need an up-and-comer for a handful of games. They need a ready made player.

Good pick up...if they need a short term ready made fix better to go with an older/wiser head.

What position will he play considering he's only 198cm? Is he supposed to back up Jervis at centre or will they use Wagstaff?

Prue's stats for the last 5 seasons in WA SBL;

2009: 11.6PPG,69.5FG%, 18.5RPG in 30 games.
2010: 10.6PPG,75.5FG%, 19.7RPG in 31 games.
2011: 7.9PPG, 65.4FG%, 21.4RPG in 30 games.
2012: 10.8PPG, 69.7FG%, 19.4RPG in 29 games.
2013: 7.9PPG, 68.0FG%, 20.3RPG in 31 games.

Will mainly be used for rebounding (averaged between 8 and 9.5 offensing rebounds per game the last three seasons) and defense.

Tigerwatcher heard anything about a replacement import for Dennis. Will they wait a couple of weeks to see who gets cut from NBA camps?

My guess is they will split minutes at centre between Jervis, Wagstaff and Prue. With Redhage, Ennis and Hire all able to play 4 spot we have alot of flexibility even without Knight, even Redhage could play spot minutes at centre.

Sounds impressive, sure, but keep in mind that the majority of them were defensive rebounds

Players always average more defensive rebounds than offensive rebounds. What an odd thing to say.

Prue is a rebounding machine.

Not to mention, defensive rebounds are a million times more important. Any good pro coach will tell you they dont even look at their team's offensive rebound count.

Everyone loved an extra possession, but there is no correlation between the offensive glass and winning. The defensive glass on the other hand...

I don't disagree with the fact that defensive boards are vital to many coaches, but certainly dominating the overall rebound count will go a long way to winning a game.
