Would say kunek and Mitchell have left no doubt where their futures are - will be who plays where - LJ, penny, Erin, Rach, Liz, Jenna, leilani, Alice, Suzy - presume Belinda and Laura as well will be around. And I have only started - Abby Tess Nat ...... it goes on)
Yes,you have only just started.You left out Kelly Wilson,Zavecz,Screen and quite a few more.Snell playing great ball in Europe,training camps are going to be very competitive.Joyce must be excited by the talent coming through,but who is going to take that next step UP in.
if I was a selector would not include Abby,Suzy,Nat or Screen in the Squad if all those girls are fit and ready to go then we are strong enough with the younger ones coming thru

jen is mega tuff and a defensive minder - does a lot of shutting down off the ball work.
has experience and knows how to get it done.
Hard to say how much the young players can improve in the next 3 years! None of them would be ready at this stage. Give them 3 years.. possibly Blicavs?

3 years is plenty of time for rapid development for young players to improve their games & push in to the Opals squad. I personally want to see an injection of youth instead of going with Dad's Army which all Graf did with the Opals!
^^ Exactly what i was saying. 3 years is plenty of time, and some of them will be more than ready! Others will have 3 years and still not have had the improvement needed.
Which young players do you think will be ready?
What are thoughts on these?:
Blicavs, Thompson, Mijovic, Bec Allen, Alex Wilson?

Talbot - Big Chance for the future.
Madgen will no doubt be an Opal, Blicavas too.
Talbot must develop a jump shot first, in her position it's essential to play at the International Level. Talbot must be able to spread the floor at the 3 spot. I'm not convinced about Bunton, must start to make some significant improvements with her post play. No longer is she the biggest girl on the court now, as she was in her junior day's.
What's going on with Thompson at Townsville? Thought she was worthy of more minutes or is this normal.
Thompson had a virus for a couple of weeks apparently. Not sure if her minutes will increase. Also thought she was more worthy! Should be the first off of the bench for them!
